602-0204, Ext 421 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to
issue the reference RFP to obtain services to conduct undersea search,
rescue and salvage operations on a worldwide basis. The support
involves the operation, storage and maintenance of Supervisor of
Salvage (SUPSALV) search and salvage assets including the Remotely
Operated Vehicles (ROV) DEEP DRONE, Magnum-38, CURV III, and
Mini-ROV's, the ORION and SWISS side scan search systems, and the Towed
Pinger Locator system. The contractor may also be tasked to provide
commercial search and salvage systems or engineering, technical, and
software services related to ocean engineering and search and salvage
systems. NAVSEA intends to include the operation and maintenance of the
Submarine Rescue Diving Recompression System (SRDRS) in the referenced
RFP. The contract will be of the indefinite quantity type, with a base
year and four out-year option requirements. Estimated contract value is
$2-5 million per year. The solicitation shall be posted on the NAVSEA
