570-544-7311, Contracting Officer The Federal Bureau of Prisons is
requesting non-personal services for an Phlebotomist. The solicitation
packages will be available on July 7, 2000 with an anticipated bid
opening on or about August 9, 2000. The successful bidder will be
responsible for performing laboratory procedures with methods generally
accepted as standard within the contractors own field of expertise.
Procedures such as venipunctures and specimen collections, urine
sediment exam, blood chemistry, complete blood cell counts and manual
hematocrits. They must have a certificate of graduation from an
Accredited School of medical technology or training and licensed to
perform phlebotomy services in the State of Pennsylvania. The contract
period is for one year with two one year options to extend the term of
the contract. This acquisition will be unrestricted. All requests for
