The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management (OCRWM) Program seeks one experienced 8(a) firm for administrative support services. A competitive procurement will be set aside for small businesses certified by the Small Business Administration to use Standard Industrial Code 8744, estimated at $5 million. The contractor shall perform a variety of administrative services in support of multiple offices within the Yucca Mountain Site Characterization Office. The contractor shall provide the necessary skilled personnel to successfully perform the administrative functions. The work will be performed on Government sites in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Government will provide the necessary space, utilities, equipment and supplies necessary to accomplish the work. Services include but are not limited to general office support, reproduction, mail operations, facility coordination, office logistics support, training and development technical assistance support. The contract type is anticipated to be a cost-plus-fixed-fee. The contract is expected to have one three-year base period plus two one-year option periods, for a total contract period not to exceed five years. A transition period may be required November 2000 and work must begin no later than November 29, 2000. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available on the World Wide Web on or about July 10, 2000.
