R -- NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM-SCIENTIFIC ENGINEERING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE (NCS-SETA) SOL DCA100-00-R-4000 DUE 091100 POC Wendy Johnson, Contract Specialist, (703)607-6890; Mark Bogart, Contracting Officer, (703) 607-6920 The Defense Information Systems Agency intends to issue RFP DCA100-00-R-4000 for the National Communications System-Scientific Engineering Technical Assistance (NCS-SETA) follow-on acquisition. The structure of this acquisition is contemplated to be a competitive Multiple-Award (maximum 3 awards), IDIQ, task order-contracting vehicle. Each award will include a minimum guarantee of 10% of the total estimated value of task orders. One contract award will be partially reserved for small businesses participating in the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program (either in the developmental and/or transitional stage), a second will be partially reserved for any small business and a third award will be made on a full and open, competitive basis. The SIC contemplated will be 4813 with a size standard of 1500 employees. All offerors must furnish evidence that they can execute non-disclosure agreements with each of the carriers as a condition of award. The formal RFP will be released on or about 12 July 2000 with an estimated award date of 10 November 2000. A five-year contract period is contemplated.
