COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 26,2000 PSA#2629SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ESTABLISHES $10 MILLION SIZE STANDARD FOR
HELP SUPPLY SERVICES Effective July 6, 2000 the Small Business
Administration (SBA) is establishing a size standard of $10 million in
average annual receipts for Help Supply Services -- Standard
Industrial Classification 7363. The current size standard for this
industry is $5.0 million. This revision is being made to better define
the size of business in this industry that SBA believes should be
eligible for Federal small business assistance programs. In the rule,
SBA also clarifies language about affiliation when a Professional
Employer Organization is co-employer of a firm's employees. SBA
published the final rule in the Federal Register on June 6, 2000 (65 FR
35810-35813). The final rule is available on SBA's Website at
