The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for natural gas service at a proposed Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp to be located in Lassen County, Herlong, California. The facility will house approximately 1,500 inmates, warehouse space and other generic institutional elements. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 4923 (Size Standard: $5 million). The contractor will provide firm and interruptible natural gas services, including transmission and distribution. The contractor will be responsible for providing and coordinating all services required to deliver firm/interruptible natural gas services to the designated service point. Any resultant contract will have a performance period of a minimum of one year and maximum of ten years duration. The anticipated contract is a ten-year, firm-fixed-price with economic adjustments. A government proposal to provide these services is being developed and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. Do not submit capability statements.
