The Department of Veterans Affairs Upstate New York VA Healthcare Network (VISN 2) Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany, NY is conducting a market survey to assess the potential for business concerns to perform Contractor-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) laundry services for approximately 1,600,00 pounds (clean weight), FOB: Within Consignee's Premises. Laundry services shall be performed at a commercial facility that meets all applicable laundry industry standards. The successful offeror will be required to transport clean and soiled laundry to designated collection areas, and distribute finished textiles daily to approximately 24 locations within the medical center complex. Laundry workload will include patient clothing, uniforms, sheets, towels,and other specialty & general linen. Potential offerors are requested to identify (a) their primary Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)Code; (b) business size (small or large business concern); (c) socio-economic status; and, (d) description of its past experience in providing GOCO textile care services of this type and magnittude to corporate entities or healthhcare organizations.
