This award will be made under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisitions and FAR Part 13.5 test program for certain commercial items. This is notification to interested parties. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-00-T-0143. This contract is for the lease of Camp Grayling Facility(not to exceed 100 days). Period of lease 1 Oct 00 thru 30 Sep 01. To include the use of the following: Range 30 (2000 acres) to include, but not limited to building 1420 and associated maintenance yard; guard shacks for security; loading and unloading docks; accommodating petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL); and electricity for lighting, heating and/or cooling of stated facilities. -- Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) #2 (21,000 square feet) to include offices, operations briefing room, break room, restrooms, storage lockers, and spare hanger space; and use of AASF #2 associated huts for supply storage, railroad spur for unloading and loading deployed vehicles, and POL storage and vehicles for refueling operations. -- Grayling Army Airfield Hanger (80 ft by 80 ft) and support buildings to accomplish daily flight operations.
