Alexis Kemper (202-482-1512) The United States Navy, Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, Engineering Field Activity Mediterranean, invite
bids for the Replacement of a Depot Fuel Farm, Naval Air Station,
Sigonella, Sicily, Italy. This project is to replace the existing depot
fuel farm on Naval Air Station, Sigonella with a new depot fuel farm
complete and ready for use. The project will also demolish the existing
depot fuel farm and associated pipelines. The new fuel depot will
consist of but not limited to: tewo vertical, API 650 storage tanks
each with a capacity of 3,200,000 liter, three horizontal aboveground
storage tanks each with a capacity of 100,000 liters, 40,000 liter
surge tank, 20,000 liter underground recovery tank along with all
associated piping, instrumentation, electrical service and other
appurtenances. In addition to the tanks the following structures are
required: new 275 square meter operations building, six loading and
unloading islands and a single story combined NATO and Control Office.
Option available for 365 days from contract award may also be included
in the project. The options will include: remove ten existing 95,000
liter underground fuel storage tanks at the existing fuel depot, NAS
II, Signonella. Provide two 46,000 liter above ground storage tanks.
All applicants must be certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce,
Office of Telecommunications. Submit all request to be nominated as a
