The roof is supported by large laminated arched beams, the bases of which are to be repaired. The project includes removal and disposal of lead-based paint and asbestos containing materials. A portion of the will remain in operation for the duration of the project and the Contractor shall conduct his operations so as to cause the least possible interference with the normal operations of the facility. The estimated issue date is 13 JUL 00. The estimated Bid-opening date is 14 AUG 00. Plans and specification are not yet available. This solicitation will be issued as UNRESTRICTED. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1542 and the size standard $17.0 million. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Davis Bacon Wages are applicable to this project.
