This procurement is an IFB, Full and Open Competition. The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region has a requirement for Carbon Dioxide Fire Suppression Systems Regional Upgrade. The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include the following: Construct and complete, the upgrading of the existing high pressure CO2 fire suppression systems which, include the following: (1) Removal of existing CO2 manifold; (2) Furnish and install new 24VDC solenoid operated replacement manifold router valves; (3) Perform engineering review of the delayed discharge system; (4) Remove existing cylinder slave valves; (5) Rewire existing 125VDC control panels; (6) Furnish and install conduit and cable; (7) Test and certify upgraded systems; (8) Remove 50-lb cylinders and modify existing 50-lb cylinder storage racks; (9) Furnish and install new 75-lb cylinders; and (10) Remove, refurbish and reinstall existing Government owned 75-lb cylinders. The location of the work is at eight different locations within the Mid-Pacific Region, California.
