NASA GSFC/WFF plans to issue a Request for Offers for the Revitalization of Communication Ductbank, Phase 1, at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia 23337. The scope of work for this project shall include, but is not limited to: Providing a multi-tube, concrete encased ductbank system and associated manholes and cable tray system; installation of a trench in Building F-2 and associated architectural, mechanical and electrical work. The Bid shall include the price for a basic requirement and six (6) Additive Bid Items. The work shall be complete. It includes furnishing, as applicable, or may be required, all contractor's plant, equipment, safety devices, labor, tools, materials, supplies, and services, and performing all operations necessary for or incidental to a complete project in conformity with the drawings and as set forth in the various sections of the specifications. This procurement is being conducted under NASA MidRange Procurement Procedures. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 365 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for the procurement is 1771. The corresponding size standard is $7,000,000.00. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about July 14, 2000 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about August 15, 2000. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the RFO. Bid packages containing specifications and drawings will be available at a nonrefundable cost of $75.00.
