MIL-A-23899 should still be used for reference purposes only. EAR MuFF Style, which consists of Headband Assembly & Spring, 1 pair of Ear Seals, Dome & Filter, 1 package of 10 Retaining Rings and Stirrup Assembly. The solicitation quantity is 60,000 each. There be 12 deliveries beginning 180 days after award -- 6 deliveries to the Tracy depot and 6 deliveries to the New Cumberland Depot. There will be (2)two 100% quantity options included in the solicitation. The prior history for this NSN is Safety Direct SP0100-00-D-5000 0001 for quantity of 82,906 at a unit price of $8.80. This will probably be the end of July for the issue date and close date of the end of August. These dates are tentative pending printing of the solicitation and release of the solicitation.
