This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-17. This solicitation is being issued under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3861. Award will be made on a firm-fixed price basis. All products shall be brand name or equal. All items described in this announcement will be awarded on an aggregate basis (All or None). The "Brand Name or Equal" product of Quickset Hercules Tripod shall meet or exceed the salient characteristics of: (1) Model # 4-53220-6 -- 30 each of Hercules tripods heavy duty units with a load capacity of at least 150 lbs. (68 kg), maximum height of 57" (144 cm), minimum height of 26" (66 cm), dimension of 30" X 12.5" (76 X 31.3 cm) -- transport mode (76 X 31.3 cm), maximum spread of 50.5"(128 cm), weight of 18 lbs. (8.2 kg), leg sections two(2), column travel 18" (45 cm), OD 2" (5 cm), foot plate diameter of 4" (10 cm) self leveling 5/8" hole for spiking; (2) Model #55730-2 -- 30 each of Pan/Tilt Adapter -- fits Hercules column 1.25" (3.1 cm) I.D., accepts electro-mechanical pan/tilt QPT30/90, weight 2lbs. (0.90 kg) to mount various pan/tilt units to the Hercules tripod, with the capability of attaching Pelco Model PT-680. The above-listed characteristics are intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive.
