It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM)negotiate on a sole source basis based upon the authority cited in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1) with Allaire Corporation, One Alewife Center, Cambridge, Massachuettes, 02140, for software support services. Allaire is the manufacture and proprietary source for providing Allaire Corporate Gold Support for its Coldfusion applications. Allaire software has been determined to be the only software compatible with NLM's current computer configuration for the release and development of Docline, Data Creation Maintenance Systems Projects and other projects releases in fulfilling NLM's mission. Allaire will provide technical software support and maintenance services. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisitions. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide the support services as stated above. Responses should be sufficiently demonstrated the firms ability to meet the goverment's requirements.
