The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Boulder City, Nevada, has a requirement for the dismantling of an overhead distribution line and removal of pole-mounted transformers at the Parker Dam Camp. The camp is located on the California side of the Colorado River adjacent to Parker Dam, approximately 20 miles south of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in San Bernardino County, California. SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF WORK: 1. Remove approximately 382 feet of overhead single-phase 2,400 volt distribution line. 2. Remove 22 pole-mounted transformers. 3. Install two (2) Government-furnished pole-mounted transformers. 4. Install one (1) 240 volt single-phase service drop. 5. Deliver removed equipment to the Government for salvage to the Maintenance Complex located immediately east of Parker Dam Camp. The removed transformers shall be handled in such a manner as to protect against damage or puncture. The contractor shall furnish all materials and equipment necessary to perform the work in accordance with the Statement of Work and all provisions and clauses. The U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination No. 1994-2053, Revised 06/04/2000, for San Bernardino County, CA will be incorporated into this procurement. A general map of the Parker Powerplant and a map of the Parker Dam Townsite-Camp Power Lines will be provided with the Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated issue date of the RFQ is approximately June 27, 2000. Simplified Acquisition procedures will be used for this commercial services procurement.
