The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), Tucson, AZ intends to negotiate a sole source contract, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302, with Datex-Ohmeda, Inc., Three Highwood Dr., Tewksbury, MA 08176. The intent of this contract is to procure Datex-Ohmeda's TechSuite Biomed Partnership Program for servicing ten (10) each Ohmeda manufactured anesthesia machines with ventilators (various models) and additionally full service is required for 10 each Ohmeda manufactured Rascal II respiratory gas analyzers. The TechSuite service shall provide, in addition to back up maintenance and repair support, training to one SAVAHCS biomedical engineer on the subject equipment, repair parts and labor support, telephone support, emergency on site response, continuous service manual updates and bulletins, periodic planned inspection and maintenance service including parts and labor.
