The Program Support Center on behalf of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine. The basis for this requirement is to Document and demonstrate an early intervention service delivery model for identifying persons at risk for psychosis and provide an effective intervention that reduces the frequency of onset and the severity of psychotic symptoms. The Contractor shall document an Early Detection, Intervention and Prevention screening and referral protocol; evaluate the effectiveness of the protocol; provide field and data analysis on the use and results of the prevention protocol. The proposed simplified acquisition is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued.
