The posting date for the solicitation is revised to 23 June 2000. The purpose of this notice is to direct offeror's attention to the solicitation's provision L7700. This provision advises the site visit schedule covers two days. On Wednesday, July 12, 2000, the site visit will tour the Point Mugu and Port Hueneme Galleys. On Thursday, July 13, 2000, the site visit will tour facilities at San Nicolas Island. Offerors desiring to participate in the tour of San Nicolas Island on July 13th must submit written requests for reservations no later than 1:00 p.m., local time, on June 28, 2000. Offerors are limited to a single representative for the Island. Requests for reservations must be submitted to the Contracting Officer's e-mail address at frances_L_cass@sd.fisc.navy.mil or submitted by facsimile to (619) 532-2575. The reservation request must include the company name, the representative's name, the representative's social security number, date of birth, place (City and State) of birth, and weight. There will be no exceptions written requests received after this date and time will not be honored because government transportation will not be available. For the site visit at Point Mugu and Port Hueneme on July 12th, reservations must be received no later than 2:00 p.m., local time, on Monday, July 10, 2000.
