Notice of Contract Action:Extension of Johnson Controls Metasys System-Hanscom AFB plans to extend the existing Energy Management and Control System (EMCS) to identify fault current locations base wide. The existing base wide EMCS is Johnson Controls Metasys and currently controls the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment and over 200 energy meters in 75 of 198 buildings on base, and monitors current faults in approximately 30% of underground power distribution system. Hanscom AFB plans to utilize Johnson Controls to accomplish this effort. If another vendor is capable of extending existing Johnson Controls Metasys EMCS throughout Hanscom Air Force Base, including full and seamless integration with the existing Johnson Controls Metasys EMCS with ARCHNET configeration. The vendor must provide : Field hardware cut-sheets, Software description for proposed controllers, Description of system architecture, including LAN specifications, User interface description at the field interface and through a PC based work station,fault current indicators and three locations where the offeror's systems control and Metasys integration features are demonstrated.Any firn believing it can meet the Government requirements for this project may submit their information to the above address within seven days of this notice.
