synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with
the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation;
price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. (ii) This solicitation (DTCG81-00-Q-3X3F01)is issued as a
Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and
incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
Acquisition Circular 97-17. FAR clauses and provisions are available
via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. (iv) This is a 100%
set-aside for small business concern. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) is 3448/500 employees (information available via
internet address http://www.osha.gov/oshstats/sicser.html. (v) contract
Line items equal one (1), quantity of 1 unit (vi)Provide one (1)
20'x20'x10' portable duplex field armory with 1 single entrance door
with internal split issue door, 1 additional set double doors, and 1
rear exit door to be manufactured in accordance with NSWC specification
3046-93-2 (see xix below). (vii) Delivery date no later than 30
September 2000. Delivery to: Jacksonville, FL 32215. Acceptance:
destination. FOB: destination. . This is a firm-fixed price contract.
(viii) Written concerns shall be accepted via e-mail to
cfreer@mlca.uscg.mil (ix) All responsible sources shall submit a
Quotation, with literature, which will be considered by the U.S. Coast
Guard to: Commander (flp), USCG MLC Atlantic, Attn: Candy Freer, 300
E Main Street, Suite 950, Norfolk, VA 23510-9112. (x) RFQ's are due 14
July 2000. (xi)The anticipated award date 18 July 2000. (xii) All
RFQ's shall be accompanied by descriptive literature and warranty
information that meets the specifications of equipment being quoted. No
consideration will be given to quotes lacking this and any other
information set forth in the solicitation. (xiii) Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiv) FAR
provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies and offer
shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable price, technical
specifications, adherence to applicable clauses, provisions, warranty,
and delivery schedule. (xv) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and
Certifications-Commercial Items, shall be completed and returned with
offeror's proposal. (xvi) 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions-Commercial Items applies. (xvii) 52.212-5, Contract Terms
