United Space Alliance is replacing the Forward Display Systems on the three Space Shuttle Simulators located at Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. The simulators currently use eighteen 26 inch Cathode Ray Tube Wide Angle Collimated displays. The CRT's used in these systems are no longer available. This Request for Information requests that the vendors provide their input on potential replacement visual display systems and drop-in solutions. Commercial-off-the-shelf products are preferred. New optics may be considered, but are not a certainty at this time. All design concepts will be considered.
