The Navy requires a quantity of one of a new or refurbished Cobalt 60 Irradiator in accordance with NAVSEA Crane performance specification. The irradiator shall have a cobalt-60 source capable for fields of 550 Rad(Silicon) per second (Rad(Si)/sec). The irradiator shall be capable of irradiating 9X9 inch electronic circuit boards under test. The gamma radiation sources shall be in four parts that are approximately 6000 curies, 6000 curies, 100 curies and 10 curies. The contractor shall also remove two existing irradiators and prepare them for shipping on contractor-supplied vehicles and move them to another Government building in which the new or refurbished irradiator will be installed. Delivery is required Fob destination to Crane, IN. Delivery is required on 28 February 2002. Note 12, Trade Agreements Act, applies.
