Solicitation number N00164-00-Q-0258 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 20000606. The standard industrial code is 8711 and the business size standard is $2.5MIL (annual revenues). This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 Maintenance Training for 10 Avionics Equipment Technicians for AN/AIC-34 Intercommunications Set Functions in accordance with attached Statement of Work which is available to be downloaded in MSWord 97 or viewed in .pdf format. Training is required no later than 20 August 00. This requirement is issued on a sole source basis to Palomar Products, 23042 Arroyo Vista, Rancho St. Margarita, CA. Palomar Products is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the AN/AIC-34 Intercommunication System, and has the expertise of form, fit and function of the System to the piece part level. Training shall be held at Palomar Product's facility. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
