The U.S. Army Research Office (ARO) announces the issuance of the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) No. DAAD19-00-R-0009, for the Department of Army's Virtual Parts Engineering Research Center Program. The specific objective of this research initiative is to facilitate advances in technologies that will lead to improved capabilities to sustain/maintain engineered systems. More generally, the results of research funded via this initiative are expected to contribute to enabling advances in the development and integration of infrastructure technologies leading to more acceptable computer-based environments for the design, development and production of engineered systems and their component parts. The solicitation process to be utilized calls for the electronic submission of proposals in response to this BAA.
