Specialist, (253) 966-3486 Contractor shall conduct National Register
of Historic Places evaluative testing at eight (8) prehistoric period
archeological sites on the Yakima Training Center. The work shall
entail testing, analysis and reporting as follows: Evaluate four (4)
prehistoric period archeological sites to recommend whether these sites
retain sufficient integrity, cultural value and research value to be
considered eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
Determine the horizontal and vertical extent of the tested sites to
assist with proper protection and management of historic properties;
Evaluate four (4) other prehistoric period archeological sites to
further define the nature of known features. Determine the horizontal
and vertical extent of the features and investigate the features to
understand their nature in order to assist with proper protection and
management of historic properties; Analyze and report on all the test
and excavation efforts and prepare all records, collected artifacts,
samples and other remains for permanent storage and management. The
proposed procurement listed here is 100% set-aside for small business
concerns. If adequate interest is not received from small business
concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without
further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from
all business concerns as well as from small business concerns. The size
standard is any concern including its affiliates with an average annual
sales or receipts for its preceding three fiscal years not in excess of
$5 million. SIC Code: 8999. Contractors offering on this project must
