S -- UTILITIES AND HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES TRASH REMOVAL SOL RQ8430a0014 DUE 072800 POC Point of Contact- Sheri Dupee', Procurement Officer, 520-524-6228, extension 224 Provide Petrified Forest National Park, located in north eastern Arizona, solid waste collection and disposal service from all facilities within the Park from 10/01/00 to 09/30/01 with the option to extend the service to 2003. Service will include emptying and disposing of garbage and debris in all containers in two districts which is divided by 26 miles. Supply the garbage containers with the minimum standards of: constructed of metal, water tight, desert tan or earth tone color, equipped with covers that the average adult can lift but heavy enough to withstand wind blowing open, a minimum capacity of 3 cubic yards. The estimated number of containers shall be 9, and placed in locations designated. All debris shall be dumped outside the Park in conformance with all applicable Federal, State and local requirements and must be disposed at an approved site. All dumping fees shall be the responsibility of the contractor and are not reimburseable. The normal collection date shall be each Wednesday between 8:00am and 5:00pm and contractor shall submit pickup schedule to Contracting Officer's Representative.
