DESC: The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Boulder City, Nevada, has a requirement for fence rehabilitation and security gate installation at the Parker Dam Maintenance Complex. The work is situated at the parker Dam Maintenance Complex, located on the California side of the Colorado River adjacent to Parker Dam, approximately 20 miles south of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, in San Bernardino County, California. SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF WORK: 1. Replacing the existing double swinging chain-link gates with a chain-link slide gate. 2. Furnish and install an automatic slide gate operator, complete with loop detectors and mounting pad. 3. Furnish and install a telephone intercom system, complete with controller, power supply, and mounting stand. 4. Saw cut and trench existing asphalt surfacing, install electrical conduit and loop detector, backfilling and repairing asphalt surface. 5. Construct the new sections of chain-link fence as shown on the drawings and 6. Repair the existing sections of chain-link fence as shown on the drawings. The completion date for this work is August 11, 2000. The contractor shall furnish all materials and equipment necessary to perform the work in accordance with the Statement of Work and all provisions and clauses. Davis-Bacon General Decision CA000037, Modification No. 4 (06/16/2000) (20 pages) for San Bernardino County will be incorporated into this procurement. The anticipated issue date of the RFQ is approximately July 5, 2000. Simplified Acquisition procedures will apply for this procurement. The SIC Code is 1799 and will be unrestricted.
