Y -- Project work includes construction of the following: (a)(1) Flashboard Weir: Timber weir boards. 71-inch diameter overflow pipe, weir riser, soil excavation and backfill; (a)(2) Flashboard Weir: Timber weir boards, 48-inch diameter overflow pipe, weir riser, soil excavation and backfill; (b)(1) Removal of Existing Weir Riser: Removal of weir riser and 72-inch diameter outflow pipe, soil excavation and backfill; (b)(2) Removal of Existing Weir Riser: Removal of weir riser and 48-inch diameter outflow pipe, soil excavation and backfill; (c) Control Structure: Five 72-inch diameter CMP pipes, electrically operated slike gates and controls, metal walkway and concrete pad; (d) Control Building: Precast concrete building, and a back-up generator system; (e) Site Work: Grading, excavation, fill, apron and embankment stabilization with riprap, fencing, and utility connections; and (f) Manatee Protection Barriers. Equipment needed would include, but not be limited to the following: truck(s), small construction crane, earth moving equipment. Construction time is 550 calendar days.
