The work to be performed consists of providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, and disposal necessary to perform preventative maintenance on specialized, NASA-owned Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Equipment, Uninterruptible Power Source (UPS) Modules/Systems, Power Conditioning Equipment, Sealed Battery Systems, and associated equipment. There will be fixed priced preventative maintenance, supplemented with on-call services at pre-priced labor rates. This action is primarily in support of the NASA HQ computer room operations, but also requires service to other NASA-owned HVAC and electrical equipment and systems at NASA HQ. The work will be performed at NASA HQ, Two Independence Square, 300 E Street SW, Washington, D.C. 20546-0001. This project will be awarded as a one-year basic period of performance with four, one-year options. The estimated price range of the basic period of performance and each option is $100,000. to $150,000. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 7623 and $3.5 million, respectively. There is a mandatory preproposal/pre-bid conference on 10 July, 2000 at 9 am. See L.8 for location and instructions.
