This contract is to design, supply and unload a steel through-truss pedestrian bridge at the Chinook Campground on the Payette N.F., located on FDR 50378 in Section 26, T22N, R5E. Requirements: length 30.5 m, width 1.83 m (in-to-in), single span, timber deck. The contractor must furnish design drawings and calculations for a 7.2 kN.m2 snow load and 2268 kg. vehicular load rating. All steel shall be A588, self-weathering. Transport restrictions will require the bridge to come in 2 pieces minimum which can be spliced on-site. All items must comply with the Forest Service Specifications for Construction of Road and Bridges, 1996. Plans and calculations shall be submitted for approval within 14 days of award. The project site is located 38 miles north of McCall, Idaho on the Warren Wagon Road. Turn south to Chinook Campground on FDR 50378 and travel approx. 1 miles to the campground.
