Center, jmetzger@ddc.dla.mil. The Defense Distribution Susquehanna
Pennsylvania (DDSP), New Cumberland, PA has a reqirement for the
purchase of Four (4) Digital Recording Systems to be installed at
security guard posts 1, 2, 3, and 4. The contract shall provide all
material, equipment, supplies, and labor to make operable. Each system
is to include the following: Two(2)Image Vault TKC400U Color Camera or
equal, Two (2) Image Vault 8mm auto-iris lens or equal, one (1) Image
Vault Digital Recorder or equal, one (1) Image Vault 3 channel motion
det/wireless or equal, one (1) Image Vault Color monitor or equal, two
(2) Pelco Env. housing/htr/blower, one (1) Sony videotape case or
equal. The system will utilize a PC (internal) based digital recording
unit, which will have a built in (minimum 4 channel) multiplexer and
communication ports. Equipment must be able to capture and record
digital information for approximately 20 days in a free running state.
A monitor is to be attached for viewing purposes of the security
guard, and each camera will sequence on the monitor screen. The
recording unit is to be attached to a 3 channel motion detector or
other triggering device to begin recording if a vehicle or a person
approaches the post. Equipment is to have an alarm mode in the event
the security guard desires to have the unit record in an emergency.
Contract is to provide space and shelving to provide each unit and its
associated equipment. Each post will be equipped with two (2) cameras.
A standard dial-up telephone line and modular block will be required
should the government choose to utilize the digital recording system.
All work is to be in accordance with National Electrical Codes. The
government will be responsible for a 4 gang receptacle box and outlets.
