US Army CECOM intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the repair of AN/TPQ-36 Traveling Wave Tubes (TWT), NSN 5960-01-089-3554, Hughes Electronic Dynamics Division (EDD) P/N 1742H in accordance with the Government's Statement of Work. Contractor will repair as many tubes as feasibly possible from quantities issued under delivery orders. Firm Fixed Prices will be requested for ranged quantities in the categories of Test/Inspect, Minor Repair, Major Repair (involving removal and replacement of major assemblies) and Disposal of Tubes Beyond Economical Repair (BER). The Government estimates that a quantity of twenty-five (25) tubes per year will be issued for repair under the contract. All material needed to perform major repairs shall be procured by the contractor and be available for immediate use. Serviceable TWT shall meet all operational and performance requirements of specification SM-A-800075 for Electron Tube, Traveling Wave, Pulse Amplifier. A FirstArticle effort will be required. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is evaluated as most beneficial to the Government with consideration given to Technical, Performance Risk and Price Factors.
