This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included n this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number 00-11 is issued as a request for quotation for a firm-fixed price contract. The Government has a requirement for a quantity of one (1) each Sun Ultra 80:2x450MHz processors with 4MB cache in each, 18GB 10K RPM internal disk drive, CD-ROM, 1GB memory, expert 3-d graphics card, keyboard, mouse and pad with Solaris 8 loaded, with the following: expert 3D-graphic accel with cable (1 card already included in the system); 24" wide screen color monitor with cable; including the optional internal PCI ultra SCSI SE card; and 4MM DDS-3 external tape drive with cable.
