The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division has a requirement to procure 12 each -- Motorola MVME2700-4461 VME Module; 12 each -- Motorola MVME167-34B VME Module, and 24 each -- Motorola MVME712P2 Adapter. This is a sole source requirement for specific make and model equipment manufactured by Motorola. The equipment being procured is part of a tasking to duplicate the commercial hardware and software at the Aegis Combat Training Systems (ACTS) developed for Aegis Baseline 6P3 suites at the Aegis land based facilities. Delivery to the NSWCDD Dahlgren, VA is required within 60 days after contract award. Delivery is assumed to be FOB Destination, unless otherwise stated. If delivery is other than FOB Destination, then state delivery cost in offer. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only written notice; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used in accordance with FAR 13.5. The closing date is five days from the date this announcement is published in the CBD. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DFARS Change Notice dated 25 April 2000. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 3577, with a size standard of 1,000. The applicable DPAS rating is DO-A7. This procurement will be awarded on an all or none basis. Far 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this solicitation and is hereby incorporated by reference. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, meets all the specifications for each CLIN at the overall lowest delivered cost, has a satisfactory past performance history for providing the same or similar items, and is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The offeror shall provide with its offer a list of previous sales (at least three) of the same or similar items with a description of the item, quantity, contract number, name of organization, point of contact, and telephone number. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 and DFAR 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with their offer.
