73 -- RUGGEDIZED FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONTAINERS SOL M67854-00-R-3055 DUE 071000 POC Benjamin Zaslow (zaslowb@mcsc.usmc.mil) MARCORSYSCOM announces the following modifications to the performance specifications for the above referenced solicitiation: Under CLIN 0001 (Food Container), the specification has been changed to read "Rations cooled to a maximum of 35 degrees F and placed inside the container must maintain a maximum of 45 degrees F for a minimum of 4 hours".......Under CLIN 0002 (Beverage Container), the spcifications have been changed to read "It shall have a capacity not to exceed 6 Gallons, and shall not exceed 30 lbs in weight."..... Additional changes under that same CLIN 0002 include "....maintain hot beverages at not less than 160 degrees F, and cold beverages at not greater than 50 degrees F, for a minimum of 4 hours in ambient temperatures....." Due to the modifications contained in this notice, the due date for receipt of proposals has been extended. The new deadline for receipt of proposals has been changed to no later than 1500 hours, July 10, 2000. All other terms and conditions of the original Solicitation remain unchanged.
