The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) has a requirement for a design and all related professional Architect/Engineering services to renovate the water, sewer, and storm sewer drainage systems at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at Littleton, Colorado. The institution was constructed in the late nineteen-thirties and most of the existing infrastructure is original construction. Services consist of: development of construction documents; specifications; cost estimates; life cycle cost analysis; bidding; construction administration; inspection; and mediation between the Bureau of Prisons and any applicable governing agencies for a project of this type. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,500,000 and $3,000,000. Consideration will be limited to firms licenced to practice in the State of Colorado and located within a 100 mile radius of Englewood/Littleton, Colorado. Selection of firms to be interviewed will be based on the following evaluation factors: firm's capacity and capability (30%), proposed project team and organization (40%), and experience and performance (30%).
