This notice is issued to announce the conduct of an Industry Day on 2 November 2000 at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NASJRB) Fort Worth Texas. The Industry Day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end approximately 4:30 p.m. It will be conducted in the Conference Center at 2570 Desert Storm Road. Participants must pre-register with the Position Management Office at 817-782-7857/7858 not later than close of business 26 October 2000 to be able to enter the installation. This Industry Day is to facilitate a better understanding within the commercial sector of the requirements of the future solicitation for base operating services and quality of life support at NASJRB Fort Worth. The solicitation will be issued in connection with the ongoing A-76 Commercial Activity study previously announced on 4 November 1999. A small business set-aside is tentatively contemplated. The topics to be addressed include an overview of NASJRB and its mission, the plan for acquisition, and discussion of the draft PWS. Since teaming among small businesses will be encouraged as part of this procurement, there will be a briefing on teaming presented by the Air Force Outreach Program Office. Time has been allocated for contractor exchange and interchange. Tables will be made available for interested contractors to display capabilities and company data. If a table is desired, it must be coordinated with the Position Management Office upon registration.
