5TH ANNUAL ARMY SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE The 5th ANNUAL ARMY SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE: "Moving Together to the New Millennium": October 30-31, 2000 in McLean, Virginia. The conference begins mid afternoon on October 30th and continues through 4:30 PM on October 31st. The plenary session will include industry and government speakers (Army and SBA) presenting timely topics, including recent changes affecting small businesses. A Business Opportunities Fair, featuring government officials and representatives from among the top 50 largest defense firms, will discuss future contracting opportunities. Breakout sessions on pertinent topics will be offered. The conference brings together small business leaders, key decision-makers from the Army's top echelon and commanders in the field where acquisitions are conducted. In addition to the commanders of the Army Materiel Command and the Defense Supply Service -- Washington, representatives from the Army Forces Command, Training & Doctrine Command, Army Test & Evaluation Command, Army National Guard and the Corps of Engineers will attend.
