70- DOI INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) CONFERENCE Vendors are invited to display and present their products at the U.S. Department of the Interior sponsored IT Conference in Denver, Colorado, October 29 -- November 2, 2000. Information technology and program employees of the Bureaus and Offices of the Department as well as employees of other Government agencies will attend the Conference. Information about the Department of the Interior can be found at www.DOI.GOV. Over 500 employees have attended these conferences in the past. Mission specific hardware/software exhibits will be presented by bureau Information Resources Management offices. Space for vendor displays is limited and a maximum of 50 companies can participate. Products will be selected for display in IT related areas such as: Information architecture; security; eBusiness/eCommerce; application software; application integration; local and enterprise servers; LANs, workstations, personal computers, and related peripherals; telecommunications, including telephone, radio and data; project management; electronic records management; and IT services. A Conference Fee (CF) (determination of fee is pending)) will be charged to each company that is selected to present products. The CF will include admission of two representatives to participate in a company's display. An additional fee will be charged for each additional company representative. The vendor display area will be available for use from late Sunday afternoon through Thursday afternoon, but actual use of the available display time is at the company's option. The display spaces are approximately 8' by 10'. Companies wishing to be considered for participation should send a one-page letter of interest on company letterhead that generally describes the configuration of the display and briefly describe the product. Additional information may be requested if needed. In your letter of interest, please name the person who will be in charge of your display and provide their telephone number. Please prominently mark the envelope -- Attn: DOI INFORMATION TECHNOLGY CONFERENCE VENDOR COORDINATOR; the office receives a great deal of routine vendor correspondence. There will be no telephone inquiries at this time.
