The US Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the Replacement of the Chiller system at the Salem OR Processing and Distribution Facility located at 1050 SW 25th St. Salem OR 97301. In brief, the project Work includes, but is not limited to phased selective demolition of the existing HVAC Units, ductwork, ceilings, and temporary roofing. Work also includes new gas service, steel structure, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal flashing, metal wall panels, painting, metal fabrications, acoustical ceiling, gypsum board ceilings, electrical and HVAC complete and ready for use as defined in the plans and specifications. Performance time of the contract is 180 days. Estimated Cost is $1,250,000 -- $1,500,000. Offer due date is July 27, 2000 12:00 Noon.
