Cascades Support Office is soliciting proposals on a full and open
competitive basis from qualified contractors to provide all labor and
materials in the demolition of a 6' x 8' wooden pump house and piping,
preparation of subgrade for new house and storage tank, furnishing and
installing a new 6' x 12' pre-cast concrete pump house, furnishing and
installing a 2,250 gallon polyethylene storage tank, furnishing and
installing related piping, furnishing and installing a 1/2hp jet pump
and pressure switch, furnishing and installing a chlorine metering pump
and solution tank, furnishing and installing approximately 610 feet of
1-1/2" pipe from the pump house to the parking lot and a drinking
fountain, furnishing and installing a chlorination system, salvage and
re-installing the existing 85 gallon hydro-pneumatic tank, furnishing
and installing a 12 breaker load panel and associated electrical work
for a complete functional system. On the Maintenance Building:
furnishing and installing piping and appurtenances from the pitless
adapter at the well head to the Maintenance Building plumbing including
a 140 gallon pressure tank, a 85 gallon hydro-pneumatic tank and
pressure switch, furnishing and installing a chlorine metering pump and
solution tank, furnishing and installing a 1/3hp submersible pump and
control panel, extending room exhaust vent from within 6 inches from
floor to ceiling, relocate existing washer and dryer, and extend
utilities to maintain their operations, provide electrical work from
existing panel A to power submersible pump and chlorine metering pump
for a complete functional system. Salvage and reuse materials as noted,
and on drawings. Materials not salvageable shall be removed and
disposed of properly off Park Service land. All work to take place at
the English Camp in San Juan Island National Historical Park at Friday
Harbor, WA 98250. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this
procurement is 1711 and the size standard is $17.M. The estimated price
range of this solicitation is between $25,000 and $100,000. TO RECEIVE
