This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-00-Q-0204 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 20000606. The standard industrial code is 3679. The Contracting Officer has dissolved the small business set-aside and this requirement is sole source to Trak Microwave Corp., 4726 Eisenhower Blvd, Tampa, FL 33634-6309 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001; 25 each, crystal oscillator, P/N 5041-1072. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination Crane, IN 47522 within 180 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
