The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following items on a sole source basis from Carrera Systems and Services, LLC located in Norco, CA. These components shall be used to upgrade the existing workstations utilized to support the Multiple Unit Link Test and Operational Training System (MULTOTS), the Link-16 AEGIS Broadcast Network (ABN-16) and Distributed Sensor Simulation System (DS3) at the AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) and AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) at Dahlgren, VA and the Surface Combat System Center (SCSC), Wallops Island, VA. The existing workstations have Alpha CPUs and utilize the NT operating system. This acquisition must be sole source based on the requirement to maintain compatibility (equipment and application) with the developers and the AEGIS fleet to ensure the SCSC and ATRC can support their respective missions.
