This is an amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items identified as N00178-00-R-2022. This requirement appeared in CBDnet on 9 June 2000 and in the printed edition on 13 June 2000; it currently appears on the NSWCDD homepage at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. The following changes apply: (1) the quantity of Item 0004 (Seagate 2GB SCSI drives with HP firmware -- part #ST32272N) has been reduced to 436; (2) substitutions of any manufacturer part numbers are unacceptable; (3) all quantities shall be either: (a) new/unused and include at minimum a one-year manufacturer's repair/replacement warranty, or (b) remanufactured and warranted as new. Anticipated award date is 6 July 2000. Delivery shall begin within 20 days of receipt of order. Half-quantities of all items must be delivered by 20 days after receipt of order; balance is due by 50 days after receipt of order.
