The Regional Contracting Office, Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan intends to procure and conduct negotiations on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis from Anteon Corporation, 94-860 Iwaena Street, Aiea, Hawaii 96071. The task includes the completion of a BITEK Telecommunications Management System for the G-6 Telecommunications System Branch, Camp Foster. This system containes seven main modules which are all linked by centralized Oracle databases on a Network Server. The Marine Corps Base Okinawa Wide Area Network provides uses the access to the system. In addtion the server is also interfaced to Camp Foster and Camp Courtney Telephone Switches and the G-6 voice mail system. All hardware required for the system to operate including backup systems have been installed and operating since the end of September, 1999. The seven modules of the application are Unofficial, Official, Cable Directoru, Inventory, Trouble Ticken and the Work Order Module(s). The BITEK Telecommunications Management System was initially procured under a GSA contract in June 1999. This will be a follow on to install seven complex and detailed software modules. The BITEK Telecommunications Management System is proprietary and has been customized to meet the needs of the G6, only Anteon can bring the system to full installation and completion. A Statment of Work will be mailed with the solicitation. The Sole Source is based on proprietary rights.
