Administrator, Sea 0263H, 602-8306X622 The Naval Sea Systems Command
(NAVSEA) intends to issue order on multiple occasions over the period
of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-00-R-6322 with Metron Corporation,
11911 Freedom Drive, Suite 800, Reston, VA 22090-5603. Orders will be
issued for engineering services for support of the Airborne Mine
Countermeasures (AMCM) requirements that require Metron's support in
the areas of performance evaluation, analysis, and computer
communications. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (1).
Metron Corporation has supported Magic Lantern efforts in the past and
is therefore, the only company (outside of KAMAN Aerospace -- the ML
manufacturer) which possesses the technical knowledge required to
satisfactorily support the AMCM requirements. No other source has the
technical qualifications/knowledge to perform the work described
herein, nor will any other services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
