The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for exhibit fabrication services. The contractor shall provide fabrication services, materials, and installation for a "museum quality" public exhibit, as well as Internet and video kiosks and wayfinding signage. The scope of work shall include on-site consultation with the exhibit designer and NIST staff; special element fabrication; graphic production including silk-screening and photographic production; and installation of exhibit and graphic elements and signage. A complete Statement of Work, with exhibit drawings, will be provided with the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued o/a 7/7/00, with proposals due 7/28/00. The applicable SIC code is 7389, with a size standard of $5M. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract, with completion of fabrication and installation of the exhibit(s) no later than January 15, 2001.
