Amendments to this solicitation will be posted on the internet at the above address unless the total amended compressed files are greater than 5 MBYTES in which case a new CD ROM disk will be issued. For amendments that are only posted on the internet, SF 30, amendment of solicitation/modification of contract, and a list of revised specifications and drawings will be mailed to each bidder. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Construct a Bioenvironmental Engineering (BEE) Facility (264 GSM) addition to the existing medical warehouse to include landscaping and supporting utilities. The construction will consistof masonry veneer with metal stud back-up and a low slope metal roof system with parapet to match existing roof. Automatic sprinkler systems will be provided throughout the new addition along with a new fire alarm control panel. Multiple air handling units (AHU'S) will be specified with electronic DDC controls. A new 225 KVA pad mounted transformer and a complete UL master labeled lightning protection system will be provided. A new 200 pair direct buried telephone cable will be routed to the new addition where the premises distribution system (PDS) will consist of a complete structured cabling and pathway system. Network Analysis System will not be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $500,000 to $1,000,000.
