broad range of maintenance and repair, and a wide variety of minor
construction tasks at Corpus Christi Army Depot, Corpus Christi, Texas,
in support of the Director of Depot Support, Facilities Engineer
Management Division. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Type
Contract on which individual task orders will be issued. The contractor
will be required to furnish material, equipment, and personnel to
manage and accomplish the tasks. Task orders include tasks in a variety
of trades such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation,
demolition, concrete, masonry, and welding. The duration of the
contract period will initially be a 12-month period, with options for
4 one-year extensions. The minimum for the initial 12-month period is
$100,000 and the maximum amount for the same period is $2M. The
Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the
Internet and CD ROM. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as
Internet only. No additional media (Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper)
will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary.
It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the following

Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet

solicitation. Offerors from all qualified business concerns are
solicited. Proposals from large business firms must comply with FAR
Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a
Subcontracting Plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are
for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract
amount to be placed with the following: Small Business 61.2%; Small
Disadvantaged Business 9.1%; Women-Owned Small Business 5.0%;
Historically Black Colleges & Universities/Minority Institutions (where
applicable) 2.0%; and HUBZone Small Business 0.5%. Estimated Cost
Range: $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. SIC is 1542 and the Small
Business Size Standard is $27.5 million. Solicitation to be issued on
or about 20 July 2000. Proposals due on or about 21 August 2000. Offers
must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in
